Kim Kardashian's Wedding + Black & White Inspiration Board

I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm not a fan of Kim Kardashian, nor the reality show she fronts, and not quite who we admire here on the blog, I know :/ but I think fame off the back of sex tape might be something to do with it? But she can rock a smokey eye, plus she looks really pretty here, so with that said, a few pictures of her wedding day, before we jump right into how you can implement a black and white theme into your big day!

The reality TV star tied the knot with the basketball player Kris Humphries in a ceremony in Montecito, California, on Saturday evening, witnessed by 440 family and friends.

Kim, 30, wore an ivory Vera Wang gown and was given away by her stepfather,Bruce Jenner. She walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of white roses with her hair up and her veil off her face.

The wedding ceremony reportedly lasted half an hour and saw Kim and Kris — dressed in an Ermenegildo Zegna tuxedo with a white jacket and tie — exchange wedding rings made by Lorraine Schwartz, the same designer behind Kim’s engagement ring.

The bride’s sisters Khloe and Kourtney were maids of honor, and Kourtney’s son Mason acted as ring bearer. Her mother, Kris Jenner, had earlier in the day helped Kim prepare for the wedding and also wore a white Vera Wang dress to the ceremony.
As requested by the bride all the guest stuck to the monochrome: black and white dress code

The combination of black and white is a timeless classics that will never go out of style.
If you want you can add a splash of color such as fuchsia, red, pink or yellow as an accent.

Of course you don't need to have a ten tier cake, even the smallest of cakes can make a statement

  1. My husband, Jason, and I had the most beautiful wedding and didn’t need to spend a million dollars. I always imaged a more traditional wedding in our home town in Bois deBoul. Kim
